Pumpkin Farm Weekends in Southwest suburbs

**Pumpkin Farm Weekends in Chicago’s Western Suburbs: October 10–11, 2026**

Fall is at its peak and the pumpkin patches are calling. Here’s every verified pumpkin farm weekend happening around the western suburbs this Saturday and Sunday — pick your patch, grab the kids, and go.

**1. Fall Fest at Bronkberry Farms — Plainfield** Sat Oct 10 & Sun Oct 11, 9 AM–6 PM. 18061 Bronk Rd, Plainfield, IL. Pumpkin patch, hayrack rides, pumpkin painting, fall photo ops, plus seasonal food and drinks. A classic all-ages farm day.

**2. Pumpkin Weekends at Blackberry Farm — Aurora** Saturdays & Sundays in October, 11 AM–4 PM. 100 S Barnes Rd, Aurora, IL. About $7–$8 (seniors 65+ $7). This living-history farm goes full fall: corn crib, pumpkin photo ops, train and carousel rides, hay wagon and pony rides. More info: blackberryfarm.info/special-events/

**3. Johansen Farms Children’s Zoo & Pumpkin Farm — Bolingbrook** Open now through Oct 31. 710 W Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL. The pumpkin patch, market, and bakery are free to wander — you only pay for the zoo and activities (around $14.95). Petting zoo, train rides, corn maze, mini golf, giant slides, and inflatables make this a top pick for little kids.

**4. Glass Pumpkin Patch at The Morton Arboretum — Lisle** Fri Oct 9–Sun Oct 11, 10 AM–5 PM. 4100 IL-53, Lisle, IL. The 16th annual display of 8,000+ one-of-a-kind blown-glass pumpkins, included with Arboretum admission. Watch glassblowing demos every 30 minutes and flameworking demos on weekend afternoons — rain or shine. Details: arb.eco/4hucTAk

**5. Enchanted Adventure at The Forge — Lemont** Running Sept 25–Nov 1, evenings. 227 Heritage Quarries Dr, Lemont, IL. Not your typical patch: a half-mile illuminated trail of thousands of intricately carved pumpkins across three worlds — Monsters, Magic & Mischief — with a giant glowing kraken, Pumpkin Stonehenge, graveyard mini golf, and a kid zone. Tickets on Eventbrite.

**6. Bengtson’s Pumpkin Farm Fall Fest — Homer Glen** Sept 4–Nov 8; Sat–Sun 10 AM–8:30 PM. 13341 W 151st St, Homer Glen, IL. Admission roughly $24–$39 (check pumpkinfarm.com for current pricing). The big one: 25+ attractions, 14 rides, pig races, petting zoo, giant corn box, 18 photo ops, live music, and food vendors. Go early — it draws crowds.

**7. Wheaton Landscape & Garden Center Pumpkin Patch — Wheaton**

626 E Roosevelt Rd, Wheaton, IL. Open Mon–Sat 9 AM–9 PM, Sun 10 AM–5 PM. A simple, no-fuss pumpkin stop — pumpkins gathered from the field, easy in and out.

**8. In Naperville? Head to nearby Bolingbrook or Aurora** No dedicated pumpkin farm weekend was verified inside Naperville itself this weekend — your closest verified picks are Johansen Farms in Bolingbrook and Blackberry Farm in Aurora, both a short drive away.

**9. Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Willowbrook, Oak Brook, Westmont, Darien, Woodridge & La Grange** No dedicated pumpkin-farm weekends verified in these towns for Oct 10–11. Closest bets: the Glass Pumpkin Patch in Lisle (~15 min), Bengtson’s in Homer Glen, and Enchanted Adventure in Lemont. Note: Oak Brook’s Trick-or-Treat Trail already ran Oct 5, and Westmont’s haunted hayride isn’t until Oct 17.

*Weekend weather looks perfect — Saturday around 80° and dry, Sunday mid-70s and partly cloudy. Happy pumpkin hunting!*
